Mission Statement:

North Springs Alliance Church invites people into the family of God through faith in Christ; equipping them to follow Christ and fulfill His mission.

Vision Statement:

We envision North Springs Alliance Church as a diverse family of believers, united under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, led by the Holy Spirit, and glorifying God by worshipping Him and loving others as Christ has loved us.

Come as You Are

Jesus told his disciples that the world would know they followed him because of their love for one another. Therefore, we strive to both love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as our self. This sort of love requires transparency, authenticity, openness, honesty and integrity. (Matt. 22:37-39; Mark 12:30-33; John 13:34-35; John 14:15, 21; John 15:12; Rom 12:10; 1 Cor. 13; 1 Cor 16:14; Gal. 5:13-14; Eph. 5:2; 1 Thess. 4:9; Heb. 10:24;1 Pet. 2:17; 1 John 3:14-16; 1 John 4:9, 11; 20-21)

We understand that we are unable to earn God’s love and acceptance. He accepts us in Christ by grace, through faith. As recipients of God’s abundant grace, we strive to extend God’s grace to others, encouraging them to grow in Christlikeness as their faith increases and their understanding of God’s Word grows. (Eph. 2:5; 2:8-9; 2 Tim. 1:9; Rom. 3:27-28)

We value all people as important to God. Children and youth form an important part of the church family now and in the future. The Gospel calls us to live in fellowship and harmony with one another rather than isolation. Believers support one another, encourage one another and endeavor to live in peace as a Christian community. (Matt. 19:14; I Cor. 12; Eph. 4: 1-13; Hebrews 10:25)

Be Transformed

Word of God

The Word of God contains everything people must know to come to our Heavenly Father through faith in Christ. It is the only authoritative guide for Christian faith and practice. (Deut. 4:2; 2 Sam. 22:31; Psa. 18:30; Psa. 119; Prov. 30:5; Is. 55:11; Rom. 10:17; Eph. 1:13; Col. 3:16; 2 Tim. 2:4; 2 Tim. 3:16, Titus 1:9; Heb. 4:12; James 1:22)

True knowledge of God and understanding of His will results in transformed lives. As the Holy Spirit works within us through God’s Word and in fellowship with other believers, we are changed to become more like Christ. (Rom. 12:1-2; Eph. 1:3-6; Col. 1:9-12)

Sin leads to brokenness, shame and guilt. Through the Gospel, men and women may be forgiven, freed from bondage, released from the guilt and shame, and restored to wholeness relationally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. (Isaiah 53; Eph. 2:1-7; Titus 2:11-13)

Go Make a Difference

We strive to see people of all ages living at peace with God and with one another through faith in Christ. We share the Gospel with people in our own community and around the world. (John 3:16; Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; John 21: John 20:21; Acts 1:8; Rom. 5:8; 2 Cor. 5:18-19)

Prayer expresses our complete dependence upon God, who responds to the prayers of his people. We cultivate prayer as both a public and private spiritual discipline, confessing our sins to one another and praying for one another and for our community and world. (Math. 7:7-11; James 5:16; 1 Thess. 5:17)

We are thankful for God’s generosity and grace toward us. As good stewards of the abundance God has given to us, we hold our possessions with open hands and strive to be equally generous in support of the gospel and those who are in need in our church family and our community. (1 Tim. 6:17-19; Luke 6:37-38; Acts 20:35; 2 Cor. 9:7)
